The high-pressure rubber hose used in the hydraulic mud pump belongs to the construction machinery pipe. It is divided into two types: high-pressure rubber hose and low-pressure rubber hose. The structure of the high-pressure rubber hose is generally steel wire braided and wound rubber hose, which is generally composed of an outer rubber layer, a steel wire reinforcement layer, a middle rubber layer and an inner rubber layer. The inner rubber layer is in direct contact with hydraulic oil and is generally made of synthetic rubber. The bearing capacity of the hose depends on the steel wire reinforcement layer, which is the skeleton of the hose, usually woven and wound with steel wire. High pressure and ultra-high pressure are mostly braided with multi-layer steel wire and wound skeleton. Low-pressure hose uses braided cotton and twine instead of braided steel wire, which is generally used for low-pressure oil return pipeline. The main reasons for the failure of the high-pressure hose used in the hydraulic mud pump are as follows: improper installation and use, unreasonable system design and unqualified hose manufacturing.

1. High pressure hose in the use of hydraulic mud pump problems:

1.1 hose surface cracks: in winter or the cold working environment in the north, the hose surface cracks will make the hose by bending. If there is a crack on the surface of the hose, carefully check whether there is a crack in the hose and decide whether to replace the hose immediately. Therefore, in the cold environment, do not move the hose or dismantle the hydraulic system, if necessary, should be carried out indoors. If you need to work in a cold environment for a long time, you should replace the cold-resistant hose.

During the installation and use of the hydraulic mud pump, the length of the high-pressure hose needs to be observed: if the high-pressure hose is too long, it will not only affect the appearance and increase the cost, but also cause the power loss provided by the hydraulic pump station; If the high-pressure hose is too short, when it is stretched or contracted under pressure, there is not enough room for expansion and contraction, which will cause the hose to be damaged and cracks in the outer and inner rubber layer at the same time. Therefore, when the hose is installed and used, do not let it be twisted or discounted, otherwise it will damage the hose or loosen the connection when under pressure.

The hose installed between the hydraulic pump station and the hydraulic mud pump shall be of sufficient length to avoid friction with other equipment or objects. If the high-pressure hose is often rubbed with hard objects in engineering construction, it is recommended to use a spring protective sleeve on the outer surface of the high-pressure hose. The working environment temperature of the hose is too high or too low will affect the life of the hose and the ability to withstand pressure, so the hose should be used within its allowable range, and the system whose working temperature is not within its allowable range for a long time should use the hose sheath. In the use of the hose, if it is a special medium, ensure that the inner and outer layers of the hose, joints, and sealing rings are compatible with the medium.

1.2 high pressure hose appearance bubbling: hose appearance bubbling is due to the quality of unqualified hose or improper use. If bubbling occurs in the middle of the hose, it is mostly a quality problem in the production of the hose, and the qualified hose should be replaced in time. If bubbling occurs at the joint of the hose, it is likely to be caused by improper joint installation.

Steel wire braided, winding hose joint and hose connection end have two forms: detachable and buckling type. The detachable joint jacket and joint core have hexagonal shape, and the outer wall of the joint core is conical, which is convenient for disassembly and assembly of the hose after the hydraulic pump station and hydraulic mud pump are completed.

After the joint core is connected with the nut, insert the steel wire to prevent loosening. The buckle type hose joint consists of the joint outer sleeve and the joint core. During assembly, the outer rubber layer shall be peeled off, the joint core head shall be set, the joint outer sleeve shall be tightened, and then the special equipment shall be buckled with a mold to make the hose get a certain compression amount to achieve tight connection.

2. The correct selection of high-pressure hose used in hydraulic mud pump can ensure the safety of the entire hydraulic system, arrange the space reasonably, and better control the cost. The main attention to the following points:

2.1 According to the pressure of the hydraulic pump station system, the number of steel wire layers of the hose is selected. The pressure is high and the number of steel wire layers is large. Each hose has a maximum working pressure, and the bursting pressure of the hose is 4 times the maximum working pressure. The higher the pressure of the hose, the higher the price will become. Therefore, we should choose the high-pressure hose of the hydraulic mud pump according to the actual system pressure. The maximum working pressure of the hose selected is 1.2-1.5 larger than the actual working pressure, so as to maintain the economy and product performance of the product. Of course, if the impact pressure is frequent in the hydraulic system used by the hydraulic mud pump, the hose with special pulse resistance can be selected.

2.2, the inner diameter of the rubber hose is selected according to the flow rate of the hydraulic mud pump and the hydraulic pump station. If the pipe diameter is too small, the flow rate of the medium in the pipe will be increased, the system will be heated, the efficiency will be reduced, and excessive pressure drop will be generated, which will affect the energy of the whole system. The pipe diameter will increase the cost, so the inner diameter of the hose should be appropriate. When the hose is fixed with a pipe clamp or the hose passes through a spacer such as a steel plate, the outer diameter of the hose should also be paid attention.

In the selection of high-pressure hose should also pay attention to the bending radius of the high-pressure hose, the calculation of the bending radius should be subtracted from the buckle length of the front joint. If the bending radius of the installed hose is too small, it will reduce the pressure bearing capacity of the hose and affect its life.

According to the hydraulic arrangement, the form of joints such as SAE flange joint, internal thread joint or external thread joint, 90, 45 and other joint angles and the overall hose assembly angle should be reasonably selected.

2.3 hydraulic hose is composed of inner and outer rubber layer and inner steel wire braid layer. According to the different pressure of hydraulic hose, the number of steel wire layers inside is different. Generally, the steel wire layer ranges from 1 to 6 layers, and the maximum pressure can reach 60MPA. The inner rubber of the hydraulic hose is resistant to mineral oil, bio-oil, synthetic rubber with good expansibility, and the outer rubber is wear-resistant and anti-aging rubber.
