1. Poor manufacturing quality
(1) Hose with poor quality will appear: the wall thickness of the hose is uneven; The steel wire is too tight, too loose or the number of steel wire layers is too small; The deformation (deformation of elongation, shortening or bending) of the hose after pressurization is large; Poor air tightness of the outer layer of glue leads to steel wire corrosion; The inner layer of glue has poor sealing performance, which makes high-pressure oil easily enter the steel wire layer. Insufficient adhesion between the adhesive layer and the steel wire layer. All of the above will reduce the bearing capacity of the hose, * * * and eventually burst at the weak part of the pipe wall.
(2) Improper selection of the buckling amount and buckling speed during the assembly of the hose and the joint, or unreasonable selection of the structure, material and size of the joint, will lead to too tight or too loose pressure between the hose and the joint, resulting in early damage to the joint.
During assembly, if the buckling amount is too small, that is, when the pressure between the joint and the hose is too loose, the hose may fall out of the joint at the initial stage of use under the action of oil pressure. If the buckling amount is too large, the joint and the hose are pressed too tightly, which will easily lead to local damage to the inner layer of the hose, resulting in cracks, and high-pressure oil will directly enter the steel wire layer from the rupture, then along the gap between the steel wires to the tail of the jacket to spray, or has been along the steel wire layer to a certain place to accumulate, so that the outer layer of glue bulge or even rupture.
When the hose and the joint are assembled, if the buckling speed is too fast, it is easy to cause damage to the inner rubber and fracture of the steel wire layer, so that the hose is damaged prematurely in use.
In addition, the joint design is unreasonable, poor processing quality, can also cause damage to the internal glue; if the joint material is not properly selected, it is easy to deform during the buckling process, thus affecting the buckling quality and shortening the life of the hose.
2. Improper use
Under the premise of quality assurance, if used improperly, it will greatly shorten the service life of the hose. In actual work, most of the high pressure hose damage is caused by improper use.
(1) subject to frequent and severe pressure shocks. High pressure hose burst, generally not due to static pressure is too large, but with the intensity of the pressure impact and the number. When the construction machinery is in operation, the oil pressure in the oil pipe will repeatedly rise or fall suddenly, which constitutes a frequent pressure impact on the oil pipe, resulting in increased damage to the oil seal of each part, foaming and cracking of the hose, and loosening of the pipe joints. Leakage phenomenon. Therefore, during operation, the valve stem can not be pulled too hard, must be gentle.
(2) the use of oil temperature is too high. During the operation of construction machinery, the hydraulic system heats up the oil due to power loss, and the influence of the outside air temperature (especially in summer) can cause the oil temperature to rise sharply. The higher the oil temperature, the easier the rubber aging, poor elasticity, strength and sealing performance decreased, the hose will quickly burst. Therefore, in the operation, when the temperature rise of the hydraulic system is too high or too fast, the cause should be found out in time and eliminated; in summer operation, especially in continuous operation, necessary cooling measures should be taken.
(3) hose selection, installation is not reasonable. When replacing the high-pressure hose, the length of the hose, the number of steel wire layers, the shape and size of the joint should be reasonable, and the bending degree of the hose should be reduced as much as possible; when tightening the joint nut, do not twist the hose. Excessive bending and twisting will greatly reduce the service life of the hose; protective measures should be taken for some parts prone to friction to prevent the hose from bursting due to wear.
